The 2022 Parma Open is one of the very few clay-court tournaments in the second part of the season and it will take place from September 26th until October 1st.
Last year, players from the WTA Tour travelled also to Parma where a new event took place. This year, it will be already a second edition but the entry list isn't as packed as it was last year when the 23-time Grand Slam champion, Serena Williams took part.
The eventual champion was Coco Gauff but the teenage sensation won't play this year. The entry list is headlined by home player, Martina Trevisan and also a Grand Slam champion will compete at the 2022 Parma Open as Sloane Stephens will take part at the event.
Anyone can triumph in the Italian city as Yulia Putintseva, Alizé Cornet, Irina-Camelia Begu and Sara Sorribes Tormo will all try to use their experience to win the title.
