We try to collect and publish all available information about prize money and points offered at tennis tournaments worldwide. For most of the ATP and WTA 250, ATP and WTA 500, and ATP and WTA 1000 tournaments, this information is known well ahead of the tournament's date, with Grand Slams usually publishing it closer to the tournament's date.
For all ATP, WTA, and Grand Slam tournaments, there is a standardized distribution when it comes to points on offer, but the prize money offered can differ. Of course, there is always the bottom line of what must be offered at events, but to attract more players, some tournaments may add to the overall prize money pool.
