Toni Nadal is certain that Rafael Nadal can win Roland Garros despite dealing with multiple injuries since last year.
Although Nadal's start to 2022 was fantastic in many aspects, things don't seem promising for 2023. Nadal has struggled with numerous ailments ever since winning the Australian Open last year. From the foot issue he had at Roland Garros to the abdominal trouble he had at Wimbledon and the US Open to the most recent injury that ended this year's Australian Open.
Rafa has been on Tour since he was 16 years old and he is paying the price for that. It's many years of hitting balls at a high intensity.
As Toni Nadal pointed out, it's the years of incredible physical efforts that are starting to take a toll on Nadal. His tennis is a very physical one however his body can't keep up any longer. Despite all of that, Toni Nadal is not worried and he fully believes that Rafael can win Roland Garros.
But I am confident he can win the French Open this year, and then we will see.
