Swiss teenager Dominic Stricker is a participant at the Next Gen ATP Finals and he chose Rafael Nadal on clay as his dream victory during one of the interviews.
The 20-year-old, who has established himself as one of the top young players on the Tour, travelled to Milan this week to compete in the Next Gen ATP Finals. Prior to their first match in the round-robin stage, Dominic Stricker and Jack Draper, his opponent in that first match, roamed through the city of Milan.
The goal of the walk and talk between the youngsters was to talk about their shared experiences on the tour so far with Draper revealing that he wants to beat Cameron Norrie the most.
Stricker, who has had some impressive wins so far, picked Rafael Nadal as the player he wants to beat the most. Not only Nadal, but Nadal on clay: "I would say the next player on my to beat list is Rafa [Nadal] on clay," Stricker said. "It is a tough one but I think it is something everyone would like to do."
His start at the Next Gen ATP Finals was a successful one as he was able to defeat Jack Draper in straight sets. He faces Lorenzo Musetti later today.
