Diriyah Tennis Cup, taking place in Saudi Arabia, has unveiled Stan Wawrinka, Cameron Norrie and Andrey Rublev as the latest editions in an ever more impressive field in the Middle East.

Wawrinka, who is continuing his return to top form following several years of injury woes, last played in the exhibition event in 2019.

On making his return to the tournament, the three-time Grand Slam champion said, "It was a fantastic atmosphere at the first edition of the Diriyah Tennis Cup in 2019. That’s why I'm excited to be playing in front of the Saudi fans again this December. I’m sure they will enjoy world class tennis and an inspiring event."

Joining the Swiss great will be Cameron Norrie. The British No. 1 has enjoyed another breakthrough year, reaching the semi-finals of Wimbledon in the summer, despite having just missed out on qualification for the ATP Finals this month.

On taking part in the Diriyah Tennis Cup for the first time, Norrie said, "I’m looking forward to playing at the Diriyah Tennis Cup for the very first time in December. It will be a memorable tournament at a unique location and a great experience to come to Saudi Arabia".

Also joining the strong field in the Middle East this December will be Andrey Rublev, who hopes that the tournament will be a healthy springboard for him to prepare for the new season. "I look forward to competing with many top players in the Diriyah Cup, since it will be very good preparation for the upcoming season. I will to do my very best to show great level of tennis and for spectators to enjoy their time. See you guys very soon", said Rublev.

With Dominic Thiem, Alexander Zverev and Daniil Medvedev all already booked into the event, the off-season exhibition tournament looks as though it could well be one to tune in for.
