Taylor Fritz will be part of the US Team at the United Cup and he is hopeful that his teammates will pick up some wins.
The United Cup is a brand-new competition that will debut this year and is essentially the previous Hopman Cup with a new name. Fritz will be there together with Jessica Pegula and Madison Keys. It was a very well-liked one among players and spectators so most of them will be glad to play some more in this type of event.
"The most exciting about the United Cup for me is potentially getting carried because we have really good girls from our country," said Taylor Fritz jokingly about the United Cup in a video posted by the events Twitter page.
"Hopefully, the girls will get some wins for us, and, you know, my work will be minimal," added Fritz with a smile.
The event will begin the new season down under although quite a bit of big names have skipped over the event as well.
