After successful last year's tournament, WTA Tour returns once again for the 2022 Transylvania Open in Cluj-Napoca from October 10th until 16th.
Last year's finalists, Simona Halep and Anett Kontaveit won't play this year. Romanian fans will be certainly sad that they won't see their best player, who ended her season early, but they will see another one of their favourite players, Emma Raducanu.
The 2021 US Open champion announced that she will be playing at the Transylvania Open also this year and since Raducanu has Romanian roots, many fans from this country often cheer for her.
She will be joined by likes of Barbora Krejcikova, Irina-Camelia Begu, who is the highest-ranked Romanian player in the entry list, Anastiasia Potapova, Anhelina Kalinina and many more as you can see the full entry list below.
