Nick Kyrgios withdrew from the 2022 Swiss Indoors in Basel as well as the 2022 Paris Masters but he should still play at an exhibition event in Mexico City.
Two of the biggest showmen on ATP Tour will bring a spectacle to Mexico. Nick Kyrgios and Gael Monfils will square off in an exhibition match. Tennis Showdown, an exhibition event where the two will meet, will take place at Mexico City's Arena CDMX on November 9th, 2022.
In one of the promotional videos that were shot by the Australian a few weeks ago, he says: "I really cannot wait to be in Mexico City for the Tennis Showdown this November. I hope to see all my fans there and I cannot wait to put on a show."
Now, the video was shared by the event on their stories again and it seems that despite the Australian's withdrawal from last two ATP events of the season, organizers still expect him to play with the Frenchman in Mexico and don't have any doubts about his participation.
