In 2023, the Delray Beach Open will be held for the 31st time, and the draw features many names worth watching.
From February 13th to 19th, the ATP 250 event will take place at the Delray Beach Tennis Center, but without the defending champion. Cameron Norrie won in 2022 and he's not coming back in 2023 to defend his title.
Nonetheless, the draw is full of star names such as Taylor Fritz, Tommy Paul, Denis Shapovalov and Ben Shelton, who will all be eyeing the trophy in Delray Beach.
The first-seeded Fritz has a bye as all top four seeds. In the second round, he will meet a qualifier or Emilio Gomez. The second-seeded Paul an also play against a qualifier in the second round, or Jordan Thompson from Australia.
Another seeded player, Miomir Kecmanovic will also meet a qualifier, as the Serbian will await winner of one of the two qualifiers meeting in the first round.
The eighth-seeded Ben Shelton, who dominated the serving stats at the 2023 Australian Open, will begin his campaign in Delray Beach against Marcos Giron. No. 3, Denis Shapovalov will await Michael Mmoh or Aleksandar Kovacevic in the second round. Be sure to check out the full draw below.
