Bianca Andreescu's trials in mastering tweeners turn into a hilarious cry for help from Nick Kyrgios.

Within the energetic arena of tennis, innovation and mastery are cardinal virtues. Sometimes, though, even champions can find themselves hilariously out of their depth. Tweener is one of the most difficult shots in tennis and only few players have it mastered like the Swiss Maestro Roger Federer or Australian Maverick Nick Kyrgios.

Enter Bianca Andreescu, who recently decided to conquer the realm of tweeners, the flashy yet tricky shot that has been both bane and boon for many a tennis star, and you have a perfect combination for a funny video.

As Andreescu showcased her tweener training escapades in a recent video, it quickly became clear that her quest was anything but smooth sailing. Her uncharacteristic struggle with the shot sparked waves of laughter among tennis fans, with Andreescu herself leading the jesting with her transparent humility.

Tweeners, also known as 'hot dog' shots, require a player to hit the ball between their legs while running away from the net. This peculiar but spectacular shot has been mastered by a select few in the game.

The video Andreescu shared, featuring her bumbling yet endearing attempts at tweeners, immediately went viral. Tennis fans watched in delight as the usually composed Andreescu grimaced, stumbled, and swung her racquet with all her might, only to miss the ball entirely or send it careening off into unpredicted directions.

Andreescu's display of raw determination, interspersed with hearty laughs at her own mistakes, endeared her even more to her growing fan base. Sensing the need for help, Andreescu then called upon the tweener maestro himself, Nick Kyrgios as she wrote a short caption 'Send help Nick Kyrgios'.

However, the Australian probably isn't practicing any tweeners at the moment as he's recovering from a foot cut that he suffered during an armed car theft. Yet, he already assisted one WTA player in the past, as he spent time on the court with Naomi Osaka, watching her serve, and he should also return very soon, with his comeback scheduled for the upcoming Stuttgart Open.
