Coco Gauff is having a great season and that isn't only in singles but also in doubles, especially when she teams up with Jessica Pegula.

The 18-years-old American got close to breaking into the Top 10 of the WTA Rankings in singles and she also played her first singles Grand Slam final at the 2022 Roland Garros. However, it wasn't only a singles Grand Slam final that Coco Gauff played in Paris as she also played a doubles final.

Despite not winning a title in singles this year, Coco Gauff triumphed with Jessica Pegula in Doha. The teenager also teamed up with Shuai Zhang to reach the final in Stuttgart and Gauff also played with her very good friend Catherine McNally in Miami where they reached semifinals.

Now, Gauff will play the final in Toronto alongside Pegula and if the duo succeeds, the 18-years-old American will become world number 1 in the WTA Rankings in doubles.

Currently, Gauff is world number 6, but thanks to a lot of points from Toronto, she will rise to at least 2nd position, only 25 points behind Shuai Zhang. If she wins, she will become world number 1 and she will hope to reach the same spot also in singles.
