Previously, Stefanos Tsitsipas was accused by his followers of stealing tweets and also criticised as they considered them inappropriate, however, the Greek shared his thoughts on the social platform once again.
After a success at the 2022 Italian Open in Rome, where he lost only to Novak Djokovic in the final, Stefanos Tsitsipas showed that he's a humble guy when he took it to the practice court right after the final defeat. After the tournament, he shared his thoughts on Twitter once again stating:
"If schools taught actual important life skills, like personal finance, relationship values, survival skills, cooking, mental health, sustainable living, or how to make and build things, we’d be living better and thats just facts."
Tsitsipas commented on schools also previously when he said: "School feels like a prison until you leave it, and then realise you were part of a social oasis with hundreds of other people your age. Something you’re never going to experience again."
But he was also criticized for his tweets when he made a statement saying: "Your salary is the bribe they give you to forget your aspirations." However, that quickly backfired as many people think that it's impossible to compare his salary to the salary of regular people. Some of the comments said:
"Very apt coming from a 23-year old who has probably never had to work an 8-5 job to feed himself."
"Ok rich tennis player"
"Celebrities shouldn’t be giving advice to everyday people. You’re so disconnected from the reality of what we’re going through on the daily basis. Do you think everyone has the luxury of walking away from a job they don’t like? No. That’s our reality."
