Fans are waiting for Roger Federer to return to the ATP Tour as it's already been more than nine months since the 20-time Grand Slam champion played his last match.

While Roger Federer hinted at his comeback before with a series of practice or training videos, it still remains a question when he will eventually come back. Many expect that he might be ready for the 2022 Wimbledon, where he can try to win his 21st Grand Slam title.

However, while he puts hours into practice on the court and in the gym, Federer still has some time to enjoy the beautiful sights around the world, and this time he visited Venice in Italy.

The photos shared on his Instagram profile show him cruising through the iconic canals of Venice, a city as timeless and elegant as his playing style. These images are not just postcards from a holiday; they are a testament to a life well-lived, balancing the rigours of professional sport with the beauty of leisure.

This journey through Venice also signifies a vital aspect of Federer's life – the ability to step away from the sport and rejuvenate. In a career that demands constant travel, physical strain, and mental fortitude, moments like these are crucial.

They offer a respite, a chance to recharge, and perhaps, a space to reflect and strategize. For an athlete whose game relies as much on mental agility as physical prowess, such breaks can be the crucible where future victories are forged.

On his Instagram profile, the Swiss shared four pictures from his trip, and it looks like he was enjoying himself on a little cruise in the streets of Venice. Many impatiently asked for his return, including the official ATP Tour account, when they added a comment saying:

"Looking good Roger! Hope to see you back on court competing soon!"
