John Isner supported Novak Djokovic's bid to play in the US since the start and the American mocked the reasoning for why he was banned from playing again.

Djokovic can't enter the US as an unvaccinated non-US citizen. He will be able to enter the country from May 11th as the restrictions are lifted on that day but that doesn't help him much because both Indian Wells and Miami will have passed by then. Isner poked fun at the reasoning for that ban on Twitter.

Don’t worry guys, on May 11th he will be deemed safe enough to enter the USA. Until then, he’s far too dangerous. Do not question the science, our government has been spot on with all things Covid since the onset.

There is a chance that Djokovic will play at Miami because the event submitted its own exemption request but Indian Wells did not because it's only days away. Miami Open director James Blake confirmed it but didn't speculate on whether it might go through.
