Alexander Zverev is finding motivation in Novak Djokovic as he recovers from a serious ankle injury and works his way back to the court.

The Zverev brothers are motivated by the Serbian's recent example as they seek to get the younger Alexander back on the court. After being out for months, Djokovic came back to easily win back-to-back competitions in Tel Aviv and Astana.

That is something that serves as a blueprint for Sascha, according to Mischa: "I think that's incredibly strong. Novak comes back, wins two tournaments - and that's it- Obviously, he wasn't injured and he's only had one break, but he comes on with a lot of confidence and plays his thing down. I'm sure he'll get even better. It's very impressive, especially at 35."

Zverev is back to practice according to his brother who shared the new update in a talk with Eurosport Germany. The brothers were also spotted vacationing in the Maldives recently.

"It was a nice trip, but he would have preferred to be on the pitch. Sascha has never taken such a long break," explained Mischa.

"Sascha doesn't just want to play tournaments when he's healthy, but only when he's also fit in terms of play."
