Andy Murray won't be heading into Wimbledon fully healthy but that's not stopping the Brit from dreaming of winning the event.

Speaking ahead of the event Murray touched upon several subjects with a heavy emphasis on Wimbledon and what he hopes to get out of it. He shoed a very high at the start of the grass season and he hopes he can elevate that event more in order to win the event. That's his goal as he explained below.

I want to win the tournament, that's the goal. To be honest, I went into it last year without being well prepared physically. I wasn't feeling great, I had quite a few injuries and niggles in the build-up to it, and I was really quite close to missing the tournament. So my hope for the event is that I feel really good right now.

To get closer to that goal Murray teamed up with his former coach Ivan Lendl who lead him to his maiden Wimbledon trophy a couple of years ago. Ask to explain how that came to be, Murray admitted that the discussion started in January.

I spoke to my team and it was like, “Look, I don't have much time on my side here. I know, I'm coming towards the end of my career and I don't really have the opportunity to spend lots of time trialling coaches.” I want to have a setup where I know the people that I'm working with, that they understand me and that's when Ivan’s name came up. I actually had the discussion with him whilst I was still in Australia.
