Venus Williams will make her singles return to tennis soon and former No. 1 Tracy Austing thinks Venus will be dangerous at the US Open.

It's been a long wait for Venus Williams but the tennis legend will soon make her return to tennis in the singles. The last time Venus played consistently wasn't that great because she struggled with her level and did not win many matches.

This comeback might be similar but fans are hoping that Williams will be able to play some solid tennis and win a couple of matches on her way out. The American has denied a retirement is imminent admitting that she just loves playing too much but it's hard to see her competing for much longer.

Tracy Austin could see her doing something at the US Open, especially cause she will be unseeded:

"42 and what I was curious about was to see her draw. As an unseeded player, she's going to be dangerous. Who did she get, she got a qualifier. So I think that's a nice draw for her to be able to work her way in."

As optimistic as that sounds only time will tell what kind of Venus we will see at US Open. It's hard seeing her do much.
