The 2022 Vienna Open, one of the major year-end competitions, will return from October 24 through October 30 with a very strong entry list and even better offer of prize money and points.

The Vienna Open's reigning winner, tall German Alexander Zverev, will not be competing this year due to an injury that has already ended his season. On the other hand, the US Open semifinalist from this year and last year's finalist from Vienna, Frances Tiafoe, will go to Austria for the ATP 500 competition.

Likes of Daniil Medvedev and Stefanos Tsitsipas will play in Vienna and they will all fight for the top prize of 500 points and 439,305€ in prize money. The 2022 Vienna Open is one of the most-rewarding ATP 500 events of the year and so there is no doubt why there's such a great interest in playing it.

For playing in the first round, all players are awarded 18,325€ and for winning their opening match, players get 45 points and 34,355€. All four quarterfinalists are rewarded with 90 points and 64,360€ and semifinalists get 180 points and 125,970€. Runner-up of the 2022 Vienna Open gets 300 points and 236,375€.
