The 2022 Swiss Open will be played in Gstaad from July 18th until 24th and the entry list is packed with clay-court specialists.
Last year, Casper Ruud triumphed in Gstaad and this year, the young Norwegian is part of the entry list once again as he will try to defend his title at the 2022 Swiss Open. However, he will face a tough opposition as Matteo Berrettini, who triumphed in 2018 will also play in the Swiss city.
In 2019, Albert Ramos-Vinolas was the champion and he will play also this year. There will be a lot of strong Spanish players as Roberto Bautista Agut, Pedro Martinez, Jaume Munar and Roberto Carballes Baena will all take part.
Also two strong clay-court players who are looking to get back to top form, Stan Wawrinka and Dominic Thiem, will play in Gstaad this year. The entry list also features names such as Cristian Garin, Benoit Paire and Richard Gasquet as the tournament promises to be a great spectacle.
