Although the Laver Cup is usually about having fun and having a rare chance to play in a team, all players are also traditionally awarded prize money.

Compared to other events on the ATP Tour, the Laver Cup is probably the most-rewarding tournament during a season. 6 players from Team Europe take on 6 players from Team World during three days in 9 singles and 3 doubles matches.

Everyday, teams are awarded points for winning. On Day 1, they get one point for each win, on Day 2, they are awarded two points for a victory and on Day 3, they can collect three points for each win. Eventually, the team with more points wins and takes the trophy.

Every time so far, it was Team Europe who ended victorious, but Team World will try to change that in 2022. All players are also awarded nice prize money as every member of the winning team will get 250,000€ while everyone on the losing team will get 125,000€.

2022 Laver Cup Prize Money Overview:

Winning team 250,000€ each
Losing team 125,000€ each
