The 2022 Hamburg Open is one of the ATP 500 events on clay that will take part in the second part of the season and will be played from July 18th until 24.
Nikoloz Basilashvili, Andrey Rublev and Pablo Carreno Busta are the last three champions of the Hamburg Open and they will try to add another title to their collection also this year. But they will need to battle past the Spanish rising star, Carlos Alcaraz who should be the first-seeded at the event.
Jannik Sinner will also take part at the event and last year's finalist, Filip Krajinovic will attempt to defend his points in 2022. The entry list is full of clay-court specialists such as Diego Schwartzman, Holger Rune and Sebastian Baez.
Karen Khachanov and Botic van den Zandschulp should also play at the event and Borna Coric, who is trying to regain his form, used his protected ranking to enter the tournament.
