2022 Astana Open Nur-Sultan ATP Entry List - Djokovic, Medvedev, Alcaraz & more

This year, the Astana Open in Nur-Sultan joined the ATP Tour permanently after two successful editions in 2020 and 2021, it will be held as an ATP 500 competition from October 3rd to October 9th in 2022.

Previously, the Astana Open in Nur-Sultan was held as ATP 250 event and so previous champions are John Millman and Soonwoo Kwon. However, this year things changed and the event will be attended by the biggest stars of the world of tennis. The entry list is led by 2021 US Open champion Daniil Medvedev and teenage sensation Carlos Alcaraz.

But there will be many players that can wreak havoc. Stefanos Tsitsipas will be one of them and he will be joined by likes of Felix Auger-Aliassime, Hubert Hurkacz, Andrey Rublev and three-time Grand Slam quarterfinalist in 2022, Jannik Sinner.

But the midfield at the 2022 Astana Open in Nur-Sultan will be also super strong. 2014 US Open champion, Marin Cilic, former world number 3, Grigor Dimitrov and former world number 6 are just a few names that can triumph in Kazakhstan.

Already star-studded field was joined by even more players with a number of achievements on their trophy shelf. Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray and Stan Wawrinka all received a wild-card for the 2022 Astana Open and they will also compete in Kazakhstan.
