The 2022 Sofia Open will take place from September 26th until October 2nd and it will feature a very strong entry list.
Jannik Sinner won the event in the last two years and he will come to the Sofia Open also this year as he will try to add also the third title, but he will be facing a fierce competition from players that will try to stop him from winning in Bulgaria again.
Gael Monfils who played the final last year was supposed to play also in 2022, but he eventually withdrew from the event and he was joined by likes of Hubert Hurkacz and last year's semifinalist, Filip Krajinovic who also withdrew for the 2022 Sofia Open.
Pablo Carreno Busta, Grigor Dimitrov, Lorenzo Musetti and Holger Rune are players that may be one of the title contenders as they should be seeded at the event in the capital of Bulgaria. The 2022 Sofia Open is played at the same time as tournaments in Seoul and Tel Aviv.
