Novak Djokovic will drop 2000 points from last year's Wimbledon and leave the top 5 despite being one of the tour remaining players at the event.

Djokovic is in the semifinal of Wimbledon but the Serbian won't get any points for that. That comes after the event banned Russian and Belarussian players, getting stripped of points by the ATP. It's something Djokovic spoke out against saying they were better ways of handling the situation while being against the ban as well.

The Serbian will drop 2000 points from last year's triumph without a chance to replenish them at this year's edition. He's in the semifinal but he won't get anything from it and due to a huge loss of points, he'll leave the Top 5 of the ATP Rankings for the first time in a very long time.

Djokovic is actually set to drop down to number 7 ahead of Andrey Rublev who will be 8th. Players who will be ranked ahead of Djokovic include Medvedev as the number one, Zverev as the number two, Nadal at number 3, Tsitsipas at number 4, Ruud at number 5 and Alcaraz at number 6.
