Iga Swiatek knows the importance of staying focused and motivated as it was one of the keys to her recent success.
But what many fans may not realize is that the key to her success often involves disconnecting from social media during tournaments such as the ongoing Dubai Championships. In a recent interview, Swiatek revealed that she tries to stay off social media as much as possible during tournaments.
While she does post her own content, she doesn't spend a lot of time reading what others have to say about her performance. This approach helps her to stay focused on the task at hand and to avoid unnecessary distractions.
"I don't really hear that a lot because during the tournaments I'm kind of trying to stay off social media as much as possible. I'm posting my stuff. It's not like I'm reading a lot."
Of course, tennis is never an easy sport, and Swiatek is quick to acknowledge this fact. Even when she wins in a dominant way, she knows that there are countless variables at play that make each match unique and unpredictable. But for Swiatek, the key to success lies in hard work and dedication. By giving 100% in every match, she knows that her chances of winning will inevitably come.
Currently dominating on the court, Swiatek is quick to remind fans that her success is not just a matter of talent, but also of preparation and mindset. In order to maintain her current dominance, she stays motivated and concentrated, never losing sight of the work that got her there in the first place.
"Honestly, I don't mind that they're saying if it looks easy or not. I know that it's never easy. If somebody wins also with a great score, it's not like.... Tennis is such a complicated sport that you're never going to know why or what happened. I feel like if you work hard and you give 100% on every match, your chances are going to come."
Despite the challenges of the sport, Swiatek is grateful for the opportunities that tennis has given her. Through hard work and dedication, she has been able to achieve remarkable success at a young age. The young Pole remains committed to staying true to herself and her approach to the game.
"So I'm pretty glad that I can play dominant tennis right now, but I'm really ready for every match and I'm really concentrated and motivated. I think if I wouldn't be, I would just have different score. It's just work, so yeah."
