Giorgi at risk of being deported like Djokovic due to fake documents

Camila Giorgi could follow Novak Djokovic in being deported from Australia due to entering the country unlawfully.

The Italian tennis player is under investigation for travelling the world and entering nations using fake COVID-19 documents. Giorgi won't have a problem this time around because, unlike last year, Australia does not require these documents to enter the country legitimately but last year's entry could come back to haunt her.

Since Giorgi was never properly immunized against the virus, it appears that she entered the country using fake documents. If found guilty, Giorgi might lose her visa as the Australian Home Office would neither confirm or deny that they are looking into the situation.

Then, like Djokovic, who had his visa cancelled last year, she would be deported from the country. She's still in Australia as of right now hoping to compete at the Australian Open but it remains an open question.
