Caroline Garcia and Marie Bouzkova won trophies yesterday and they are both among the biggest risers on the latest WTA Rankings.
Only one top player was in action last week as Iga Swiatek opted to play home in Warsaw. It was a solid run for her but she failed to win the trophy because Caroline Garcia proved better beating her. The French player would end up winning the trophy in Warsaw and it boosted her ranking by 13 spots. She's now number 32 in the world.
The other WTA event was held in Prague and the best player was Marie Bouzkova. The Czech player was able to win her maiden trophy after coming close several times in the past. She's been enjoying a proper breakout season and she jumped 20 spots to number 46.
The top 20 remained unchanged as Swiatek still leads ahead of Anett Kontaveit, Maria Sakkari, Paula Badosa and Ons Jabeur. No player had major drops this week. Naomi Osaka is among those who did drop but she only lost one spot being now ranked at number 41.
