Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinas (Special K's) won 2022 Australian Open and they will bring that magic back to Wimbledon.

It was confirmed by Thanasi Kokkinakis who spoke ahead of the event confirming the duo will try their best to do well at the event. There was a lot of uncertainty about it despite Kyrgios hinting at it a couple of weeks before. Kokkinakis himself added that it would be crazy to think they could win Wimbledon but so was thinking they could win the Australian Open as well.

We weren't sure if we were going to play this week. We had a bit of hesitation with (the format) being best of five sets. But we'll take it match by match and see how we go. We’ll just have fun. We’ll just enjoy our time together.

Kokkinakis also backed Kyrgios to play well at Wimbledon believing him capable of making a deep run. The duo have been friends forever and he always has his back in tennis and away from tennis.

He looks great. He looks like he's locked in. Obviously, Slams are tough but I think with his game and how comfortable he is on grass and how many matches he’s played, I think he can definitely make a big run here. The hardest thing is backing up matches after matches but the key thing for him is if he can get it done fairly comfortably, especially in his earlier rounds, I think that sets him up really well.”
