Rafael Nadal visited Chile as a part of his exhibition tour in Latin America and it was obvious that fans had a great interest in meeting him.

The 22-time Grand Slam champion has fans all around the world and despite playing against one of the Chilean players, Alejandro Tabillo, it was the Spaniard, who was the main focus of all fans that came to San Carlos de Apoquindo in Santiago.

The seasoned Spaniard began his South American tour in Argentina after finishing the ATP season in Turin. The 22-time Grand Slam champion next relocated to Chile before moving to Brazil.

Alejandro Tabillo, Chile's No. 2, took on Rafael Nadal in front of more than 10,000 spectators at San Carlos de Apoquindo. Martn de la Puente and Gustavo Fernández, two wheelchair performers, also gave a set at the occasion.

Disappointing the Chilean crowd by defeating their player, Nadal won 7-6(6), 6-3. He displayed a great level and many rallies that the Santiago crowd undoubtedly enjoyed as they showed when he came close to them.
