After winning five titles in 2020, Andrey Rublev lifted only one trophy above his head last year, before winning another 4 this year.

In the 2022 Gijon Open final, Andrey Rublev took on Sebastian Korda and showed yet another dominant performance to fans in Spain. The Russian won 6-2, 6-3 in an hour and 17 minutes to lift his 12th ATP title in his career.

It seems that with so many titles, Rublev ran out of words during the trophy ceremonies. His winner's speech in Spain turned out to be very funny as he lost words when he started speaking about his team.

"Then I want to thank my team for... I don't know for what," said Rublev and started laughing. He immediately realized that the quote may back fire and in an attempt to correct himself, he started: "No, I mean..." but couldn't hold back laugh but crowd soon realized that he didn't mean it in a way it came out of his mouth and started laughing and cheering.

Now, Rublev can rest as he withdrew from the 2022 Napoli Cup that currently faces a lot of controversy as its courts are not suitable for playing an ATP event.
