Only a few weeks ago, Bernard Tomic had a very heated exchange with his ex-friend Nick Kyrgios as he warned the 2022 Wimbledon finalist that they may soon meet again.

Since then, the 30-years-old Australian lifted two ITF titles and now he added the third one. In Dominican Republic, he defeated Alexander Petrov, Mac Kiger, Jesse Flores, Peter Bertran and Darian King, who is a former Top 110 player, to lift another ITF title.

With this triumph, he will move close to Top 500 of the ATP Rankings, spot he was far away since this June.

Recently, he seemed to be really engaged in a possibility of facing his old friend Nick Kyrgios when he hinted that his rise up the rankings may soon start: "Just a matter of time before I see you Nicky boy."

After winning his first two ITF titles this season, he stated: "Thanks again for the support. F*** the haters, I am gonna prove them wrong," Bernard Tomic posted on his story.
