The 2023 Rotterdam Open can be called also the ATP 500 event of youngsters as almost every promising NextGen player will take part in this event.
The draw for the 50th Rotterdam Open includes 5 players from the Top 10 of the ATP Rankings, but also many others that have experience with winning big titles. The tournament is played from February 13th to 19 at the Rotterdam Ahoy Arena and Felix Auger-Aliassime is the defending champion.
Last year, the Canadian defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final, and in 2023, the Greek is the first-seeded. He will be certainly eyeing the top prize in Rotterdam, and in the first round, Emil Ruusuvuori will stand in his way. Already in the second round, he can meet talented Jannik Sinner, who was drawn against Benjamin Bonzi.
The second-seeded Andrey Rublev, who is the 2021 champion from Rotterdam will also face an early test. He will face off against Alex de Minaur.
Felix Auger-Aliassime will start his title defence against Lorenzo Sonego as the fourth-seeded Holger Rune will want to continue his stunning run against one of the qualifiers in the first round.
Former world no. 1, Daniil Medvedev is the sixth-seeded and he will meet Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, while the 2020 US Open finalist and former world no. 2, Alexander Zverev will start against a qualifier.
