There was an Argentinian fighting for the top award from the prize money and points distribution for the past two years at the Argentina Open in Buenos Aires, and home fans will be hoping for a similar story in 2023.

Diego Schwartzman was the home hero in 2021 when he won the title, and in 2022, when he lost in the final to Casper Ruud after having a one-set lead. In 2023, the competition will be much bigger at the 2023 Argentina Open in Buenos Aires as the entry list includes two former Grand Slam champions.

Those are former world no. 1, Carlos Alcaraz, and another US Open winner, Dominic Thiem. They will be one of those fighting for their share of $626,595 that will be distributed in prize money at the event.

The champion of the ATP 250 event played on clay-courts of the Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club will receive 250 points and $95,305, while the defeated finalist will get 150 points and $55,595.

All players are rewarded, but those that lose already in the first round don't get any points. On the other hand, they are compensated with $6,720. But the reward for the second round is already much nicer as those players get 20 points and $11,000. You can see the full prize money and points overview below.
