From June 27th until July 10th, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal will battle for another Grand Slam title at the 2022 Wimbledon but will face a tough opposition in the packed draw.
As usually, the 2022 Wimbledon promises to be a great spectacle, although this year it will be played without points and Russian and Belarusian athletes. Novak Djokovic, who won the last three Championships, will begin the tournament against Soonwoo Kwon.
Rafael Nadal will be the second-seeded in the All England Club and he will start against Francisco Cerundolo. The 2022 Roland Garros finalist, Casper Ruud will meet Albert Ramos-Vinolas in the first round. All eyes will be also on Carlos Alcaraz who will be one of the favourites and the young Spaniard will meet Jan-Lennard Struff.
Nick Kyrgios, who will be certainly one of the players that could cause a surprise, will start against a home player, Paul Jubb. Stan Wawrinka will have a very difficult first match as he will take on Jannik Sinner. Last year's champion, Matteo Berrettini will take on a clay-court specialist, Cristian Garin in the first round while Hubert Hurkacz will meet Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.
Two-time Wimbledon champion, Andy Murray will start against James Duckworth and the fourth-seeded Stefanos Tsitsipas will need to battle past Alexander Ritschard. Felix Auger-Aliassime will try to achieve good result in the All England Club, but first he will need to beat tall Maxime Cressy.
