The 2022 Hamburg Open, an ATP 500 clay-court tournament, takes place during the second half of the season from July 18 to July 24.

Pablo Carreno Busta, Andrey Rublev, and Nikoloz Basilashvili are the most recent winners of the Hamburg Open, and they are all hoping to repeat as champions this year. The top seed in the competition, Carlos Alcaraz, a rising star from Spain, will be a challenge for them.

Carlos Alcaraz and Andrey Rublev will be certainly two biggest favourites to triumph at the 2022 Hamburg Open. The champion will take home 331,125€ and add 500 points to the ATP Rankings. Yet, the prize for the finalist is also nice as it offers 300 points and 178,170.

Hamburg Open is an ATP 500 event and so it offers more points than the ATP 250 event held at the same time in Gstaad. While the champion in the Swiss city gets only 250 points, the semifinalists in Hamburg will get 180 points and 94,925€. The prize for losing in the first round is 13,800€.
