Serena Williams has only a couple more tournaments to play before she officially retires and many tennis greats already congratulated her on an amazing career.

John Isner is also one of the players that spent quite some time on the ATP Tour and the tall American wrote his name into the history books when he broke a long-standing world record of most aces hit by a player in a career. Now, he used his platform to share his opinion about Serena Williams and her upcoming retirement.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion is preparing for her farewell at the 2022 US Open and she does so at the WTA 1000 events in Toronto and Cincinnati. After beating Nuria Parrizas-Diaz, she lost to Belinda Bencic and said her last goodbye to fans in Canada.

The 2022 US Open is only a couple of weeks away and John Isner expects 'quite a scene' as the packed Arthur Ashe Stadium will say goodbye to the most successful tennis player in the history of the United States.

"The US Open will be quite a scene this year as we say goodbye to the GOAT. What an amazing career that absolutely transcends the sport of tennis," John Isner wrote on Twitter.
