Taylor Fritz, Novak Djokovic and Iga Swiatek all fought hard to win an ATP 500 or WTA 500 event but some fans didn't like that they were rewarded differently.

For his triumph at the 2022 Astana Open, Novak Djokovic received $355,310. Champion in Tokyo, Taylor Fritz got even more as he was awarded $365,275 after his triumph. However, the 2022 Ostrava Open champion, Barbora Krejcikova got "only" 93,823€ and that's what created a lot of emotions on social platform Twitter.

The official account of WTA shared a picture which stated that Barbora Krejcikova and Iga Swiatek will be fighting for 93,823€ in their final match, but compared to more than $350,000 that Novak Djokovic and Taylor Fritz received, the reward given at WTA 500 event was almost 4-time smaller.

“Taylor Fritz – Tokyo ATP 500 winner – earned $365k, which is almost 4x Ostrava's winner. The winner of next week's Firenze ATP 250 will earn the same of the winner of a WTA 500 who features the best players on Tour. Not a reason to brag, WTA. Claim more from your sponsors,” user stated.

Other angry comments under WTA's picture included many more tennis fans that were not happy about the fact that champion in Ostrava earns so much less than champion at an ATP 500 event in Tokyo.

"I wouldn't advertise that fact that much when the winner in an ATP 500 event receives about $350,000."

"Prize money in WTA is a sad joke, these girls deserve more."

"These women work just as hard as any man does for their tourney and im just as interested to watch the women play and kick their opponets rear end as i am the guys. Thats disappointing."
