The Mubadala World Tennis Championship will take place at Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi's International Tennis Centre for the fourteenth time in 2022.
This year's tournament, which will be held from December 16 to 18, features a very intriguing draw with many of high-profile matchups, particularly in the men's draw. There will be also two women competing in Abu Dhabi as Emma Raducanu will take on Ons Jabeur in the only WTA match.
In the ATP draw, Stefanos Tsitsipas will start against Cameron Norrie in the first quarterfinal match. In another quarterfinal match, last year's champion, Andrey Rublev will meet this year's US Open semifinalist Frances Tiafoe.
Two players already qualified for the semifinals and those are obviously the two highest-seeded players. World no. 1 in the ATP Rankings, Carlos Alcaraz will meet winner of the match between Frances Tiafoe and Andrey Rublev.
On the other hand, world no. 3, Casper Ruud will play against better from the duo Stefanos Tsitsipas and Cameron Norrie. Also players that will lose in quarterfinals and semifinals will play for the 5th place and 3rd place respectively.
