Roger Federer touched and charmed many tennis hearts throughout his illustrious career thanks to his unparalleled charisma and down-to-earth personality.
Federer, winner of 20 Grand Slams and undoubtedly one of the greatest tennis players in history, is revered not just by tennis fans but also by his fellow pros. Even during his official retirement from the sport, he wasn't the only one whipping away the tears.
WTA star Caroline Garcia is certainly among them. The Frenchwoman was enchanted after watching one of the Swiss interviews from last year, where he was a guest on The Daily Show, hosted by South African comedian Trevor Noah.
Federer talked about a range of topics related to his tennis career and revealed an awkward interaction in which he was blanked by a security guard while trying to access the gates of Wimbledon despite possessing a lifetime membership at the All England Club.
Garcia took to X (formerly Twitter) to share her ideal experience if she were to meet the Swiss tennis legend. Although Federer has retired from the sport, he has made sporadic appearances in tennis venues and was at Wimbledon last season, where he was feted for his record at the tournament.
"How did I miss @rogerfederer interview with @Trevornoah from last year! Roger is such an inspiration One of dream is propoably to get a coffee with him and talk about life, tennis, inspiration, way through life, way, getting a member card to Wimbledon.… anything really !"— Garcia wrote in a tweet on X (formerly Twitter)
