The 2023 Lyon Open is right around the corner, with the WTA 250 event set to take place from January 30th to February 5th.

Cornet wasn't successful at this event before as she managed to win only one match in three appearances, but with her powerful forehand and solid serve, Cornet will be a tough opponent for anyone in the draw.
Shuai Zhang will be the defending champion, having won the event in 2022.
Anastasia Potapova and Petra Martic will also be competing at the Lyon Open, with both players looking to build on solid seasons in 2022. Both players will be looking to make a big impact in Lyon as they look to start their year on a strong note.
