The 2022 Cincinnati Masters will be played from August 15th until 21st and fans can expect some top-class tennis ahead of the fourth Grand Slam of the season.
The draw of the 2022 Cincinnati Masters is without the last year's champion as Ashleigh Barty retired from professional tennis. Iga Swiatek will be one of the biggest favourites to win as she headlines the draw as the first-seeded player.
The young Pole has a BYE in the first round as all Top 8 seeds and she will start her tournament against Sloane Stephens or Alize Cornet. However, all eyes will be on Serena Williams who will play her last WTA 1000 event at Cincinnati Masters. The 23-time Grand Slam champion faces a very difficult draw as she will take on the tenth-seeded Emma Raducanu in the first round.
Her sister, Venus Williams will begin against no. 14, Karolina Pliskova as another American, Coco Gauff will start against a qualifier. Naomi Osaka will also play at the event and she will start her journey against Shuai Zhang.
