He also did that during a recent practice, in which he implemented a one-handed backhand, a trademark shot of his good friend Roger Federer.
This is a departure from his usual style, as he typically only uses a one-handed backhand in rare situations, such as when he is stretched out wide on the court. Despite the change in technique, Nadal still looked in control and hit an impressive shot with his one-handed backhand.
It's clear that even when he's just practicing and having fun, Nadal still has the skill and ability to hit shots that most players can only dream of. It's always interesting to see a player of Nadal's caliber experiment with different shots and techniques.
