Dominic Thiem has embarked on a new chapter in his career by adding two fresh faces to his coaching team.

This comes in the aftermath of his recent split with former coach Nicolas Massu. Thiem has recruited Benjamin Ebrahimzadeh, an experienced coach, and Matthias Kapl, a skilled physiotherapist, to his team as they kick off their trial phase in Monte Carlo.

Thiem is eager to make a strong comeback after a series of ups and downs in recent years. With Ebrahimzadeh's coaching prowess and Kapl's keen understanding of physical conditioning, the Austrian hopes to achieve new heights in his game.

Ebrahimzadeh, a former tennis player himself, has previously worked with several high-profile players on the ATP Tour, including the likes of Cedrik Marcel-Stebe, but also WTA star Angelique Kerber.

The ATP 1000 event in Monte Carlo will serve as a testing ground for this new team dynamic, with both Ebrahimzadeh and Kapl eager to prove their worth to Thiem. It is an opportunity for the trio to build a solid foundation and forge a fruitful collaboration that could potentially propel Thiem to new heights in the tennis world.
