Liam Broady enjoyed a great run at the 2022 Wimbledon when he defeated no. 12, Diego Schwartzman to reach third round where he was stopped by Alex de Minaur.

A few days after his loss at the 2022 Wimbledon, Liam Broady spoke about another Australian, Nick Kyrgios. The Aussie is cruising through the tournament and will be playing in the quarterfinals of the Grand Slam for the first time since 2015. Speaking about his colleague from the tour and his on-court antics and showmanship on BBC Breakfast, Liam Broady said:

“I love it. I think Nick’s brilliant for the sport. My opinion of it is that if you can’t beat him when he’s doing this stuff, then it’s on you. If Nick’s willing to beat you and entertain people whilst he does it, then why not? I think it’s good for the sport."

“I know Stef and he’s a nice guy, but I’m not sure it was really bullying. It can feel like that when he’s doing it in front of the whole crowd, and obviously Wimbledon fans love Nick Kyrgios.”
