After following Formula One for a while, Netflix opted to do so with tennis as well, following players in their daily lives to show everybody what goes on away from the court.
Many tennis fans are quite curious about things going on behind the scenes but the sport has never been good at showing that side of the game. From time to time we get backstage access but for the most part that footage is quite controlled.
Netflix will show a raw side of tennis, similar to the one they about Formula One they showed. Fans loved that one so tennis was quick to try itself out and they've picked a couple of very interesting players to do so. Taylor Fritz was one player they followed earlier in the year.
Then it was Stefanos Tsitsipas and now it's Nick Kyrgios. The Aussie was always a natural fit for a show like this because he never hides anything anyway so he will truly show the raw side of tennis. Coincidentally it happened during his best ever Wimbledon run where he lost to Djokovic in the final.
Cameras were also present at the party Kyrgios had after Wimbledon where he celebrated the result with his fiancee, his family and team members.
