Tennis will have its own Netflix series, called Break Point and according to Nick Kyrgios, it may save the sport.
Over the years, an average tennis fan got much older and the sport faces an issue of attracting a younger audience. However, that may now become a thing of the past as a new series Break Point should change that.
Previously, creators of the Break Point succeeded with similar show called Drive to Survive, which reflects the sport of Formula 1. It had a massive success and tennis fans are hoping that Break Point will have the same affect on the sport of tennis.
"It wasn't only for me. I think it's in desperate need for the tennis world to get put on the map globally again. Obviously when Novak and (Rafael) Nadal go as well as Roger (Federer). This Netflix (show) is kind of the last hope that tennis is going to be interesting globally on the map for a long, long time. We've got a lot of young personalities. I think the first episode is pretty exciting and I think it will keep people interested for sure."
