"Moments like these are worth living for" - Djokovic on grand parade in Belgrade

Novak Djokovic was welcomed with a massive parade in his name on Monday evening in Belgrade and he cherished every moment of it.

Novak Djokovic is without question the biggest athlete to ever come out of Serbia and he confirmed that by adding another Wimbledon trophy to his name. The Serbian is an icon around the world especially back home and he was welcomed like a hero in Serbia's capital of Belgrade. Speaking to the crowd Djokovic said:

“These are definitely the most beautiful moments in my life, when I have the blessing to play the sport that I love so much, in which I managed to achieve great success, and when I achieve that, I can come back and celebrate with our people."

Djokovic always exuded great pride in representing his country and his people and he confirmed that once more during the parade.

He explained how moments like these, where he can celebrate his success among his people and in his country is what he will carry with him forever.

Thank you, you are wonderful. Lots of Serbian tricolours, lots of children, young people. It fills me forever. Moments like these are worth living, working, and playing tennis. Trophies are fleeting, but these moments where we share success together, where we share success together, I will carry in my heart forever.
