Eurosport tennis analyst Mats Wilander believes that Rafael Nadal will have a great Australian Open if he's fully healthy.
Mats Wilander thinks Rafael Nadal will be an animal at the Australian Open if he arrives there healthy. He has not mesmerized with his play thus far this year. Since his health has let him down in his last two grand slam appearances, it's clear that it's always going to be a talking point at this stage of his career.
"He just has to get there healthy. He's going to be an absolute animal and I'm sure that he is going to play his best tennis. He has a big chance to win the Australian Open, as he does the French Open."
Wilander is much more optimistic than most Nadal fans as his tennis really did not stick out. The most worrying thing was him getting tired in the United Cup matches which ultimately proved costly in both of his matches. The Swede believes that Nadal can tap into his nature as a great champion to push him past any problems.
"Having won there for the second time for someone like him, now he has won all of the Majors twice or more, that's massive. That's where he separates himself from the great Roger Federer, who only won one French Open. So Rafa now knows how to win in all the different venues."
