Sebastian Korda earned the biggest win of his career in Melbourne but still called himself the worst athlete in the family.

Korda played a superb event to take down last year's runner-up Daniil Medvedev in straight sets. The American comes from a sporting family as his father played tennis successfully. He actually won the Australian Open once. His mother was also a tennis player reaching number 26 once.

His sisters are both excellent golfers so he admitted after the match that he still needs to do something to be recognized within the family.

“I love playing in Australia, as does my family. My dad won the Australian Open 25 years ago, and my sister won the Australian Open in women’s golf! I don’t know what I’m going to be ranked [after victory], but my mum’s career high was 26, my dad was two, my sister Nelly was No. 1, my elder sister Jessica was six... so I’m definitely the worst athlete in the family so far!”
