Novak Djokovic still dreams about Olympic glory after the honour eluded him so far in his career.

Djokovic has competed in the Olympic Games competition four times so far in his career with his best finish coming in his debut in Beijing. Alexander Zverev defeated him in the Tokyo semifinals, and Pablo Carreno Busta won the bronze medal match.

"An Olympic medal, especially gold, is always a big wish," said Djokovic adding: I rewound my match with Zverev in Tokyo many times, trying to figure out what went wrong. I played superbly up to that point, but I did feel I was running on fumes, both mentally and physically.”

The tennis competition for the Paris Olympics will be held in the renowned Roland Garros Stadium, guaranteeing that 2024 will be a significant year for both the location and clay court tennis. Only two Roland Garros titles belong to Djokovic, but it's unknown if Rafael Nadal, who is his biggest rival on the red clay, will still be competing in 2024.
